My Journey to Health and Wellness
Nine years ago, my world was shaken when a doctor told me that my mom, who was battling breast cancer, had only months—maybe a couple of years—to live. The news was devastating. My mom wanted nothing more than to keep fighting, to have more time with us, and to beat the odds. That moment changed everything for me.
Determined to help her in any way I could, I dove deep into researching health, nutrition, and disease prevention. What I discovered was both eye-opening and life-changing: the choices we make every day—what we eat, how we live, how we care for our bodies—can profoundly impact our health, not just in the short term but for years to come. Two key truths became clear: disease prevention is everything, and health is the foundation for the life we want to live.
This realization became even more personal when I developed an autoimmune condition myself. I experienced firsthand how diet and lifestyle can either fuel disease or facilitate healing. Through trial, research, and dedication, I found that food was not just fuel—it was medicine. Managing my autoimmune symptoms through a whole-food, minimally processed diet reinforced my belief that what we put into our bodies has the power to either harm or heal.
Wanting to deepen my knowledge and help others, I became a certified health coach and earned AIP (Autoimmune Protocol) certification to specialize in diet and lifestyle strategies for autoimmune healing. I also completed a health and wellness course in Designing a Sustainable Nutrition Plan, which gave me an even greater understanding of how to create realistic, long-term approaches to healthy living.
Now, as a mom of three young children, my motivation has only grown stronger. I want to be there for my family for as long as possible, feeling strong, energized, and well. I also want to give my kids the best foundation for lifelong health so they can thrive. And beyond my own family, I have a deep passion for helping others take control of their well-being.
That’s why I started my health coaching practice. I believe that simple, nourishing food and sustainable lifestyle changes can transform lives—because I’ve lived it myself. My mission is to help busy moms and individuals struggling with autoimmune conditions find real, practical solutions that fit their lives and support long-term health.
My hope is that the knowledge and tools I share will make a real difference, one person at a time. Because when you feel your best, you can show up for the life you truly want to live.
